Hello and welcome to the South Bucks Down’s Syndrome Group website. We are a small volunteer run charity based in the South of Buckinghamshire, affiliated to the national Down’s Syndrome Association.

We aim to provide local people with Down’s syndrome of all ages, their families, friends and carers with opportunities for connection, community and fun.

We are not strictly geographical but generally cover High Wycombe, Chesham and Amersham, Beaconsfield, Marlow and surrounding areas.

SBDSG runs groups, activities, outings and events, many of which are free or are heavily discounted to members. Membership is free and you can sign up here to join our email list.

Our website aims to provide information on what we offer and to help connect you to other useful support. Thank you for visiting and we hope you will join us.

Testimonial 1

“Whilst our son has most certainly benefited from the groups run by SBDSG, as his parents we have had the opportunity to meet other parents, share stories and sometimes problems, which has provided us with a strong sense of not being alone on a journey; listening to wise counsel, words with sound advice and contact with useful professionals.

SBDSG is a community and for our family, being part of that continues to support us.”

“The SBDSG New Year party gave the kids and young people something very special to look forward to after the Christmas festivities were over; dancing, games & delicious party food for all to enjoy with families and friends. It was a joy to see!”

“SBDSG welcomes everyone and offers lots of fun activities. We have enjoyed the Chessington Trips and horse riding. The Annual BBQ is brilliant and is a great way to catch up with lots of other families.”
